PMB are Literacy Specialists!

Through training from the Institute for Multisensory Education (IMSLE) we use the Orton-Gillingham Approach (MSL - Multisensory Structured Language), which is a research-based, systematic approach designed specifically for individuals with dyslexia and other reading difficulties. It emphasise:

- Multisensory Learning: Engaging students through visual, auditory, and kinesthetic activities to reinforce understanding and retention.

- Structured Language: Introducing language concepts in a logical sequence, allowing students to build on their existing knowledge.

- Individualised Instruction: Tailoring lessons to meet the unique needs and learning styles of each student, bridging gaps and working from where they are at now to ensure progress and success at their pace.

Our multisensory lessons for literacy are specialised and require specific knowledge, training and experience, therefore are slightly higher rates than our "Tutoring" services. The payment for lessons includes:

- Preparation of each individual lesson to build on what has been taught before and check for retention before moving on

- Delivering the lesson

- Write up of notes to ensure the scope and sequence of delivery is documented and followed
